## What a bathroom installation with us involves
A full bathroom installation covers everything behind the tiles as well as everything you see: stripping the old room out, first-fix pipework and waste runs, the bath, basin, WC and shower, the heating or towel rail, and the finishing that makes the room watertight.

It is the same family team throughout. Dan, Dean and their sons do the work, so the people who quoted the room are the people in it, and there is no chain of subcontractors to chase when something needs deciding.

Why it matters

## Where bathroom projects go wrong

Bathrooms fail behind the surface, not on it. Waste runs with the wrong fall, pipework that is not properly supported, and sealing done in a hurry all look perfect on handover day and cause damage six months later.

Split trades are the other common problem: a plumber, a tiler and an electrician each working to their own schedule, with the gaps between them becoming the homeowner's problem to manage.

Then there is the pressure question. A beautiful new shower fed by a system that cannot supply it is a disappointment that no amount of tiling fixes.

## Bathroom installation in more detail

### Layout and pipework
Moving a WC or a bath is not just a matter of where it looks best, waste runs need fall, and that fall dictates what is possible within the floor build-up you have.

We work this out at survey stage so the layout you agree is a layout that can actually be built, not one that has to be compromised halfway through.

### Water pressure and hot water
The most common disappointment in a new bathroom is a shower that dribbles. That is almost always a supply problem rather than a fitting problem.

### Finishing and sealing
Sealing is the last job and the one most often rushed. Done properly, with the right preparation and curing time, it is what keeps water out of the structure for years.

How long does a bathroom take?Most domestic bathrooms run over one to two weeks depending on the scope. We give you a realistic timescale with the written estimate.

Do you supply the bathroom suite?We can work with fittings you have chosen or advise on what will work with your water pressure and layout. Either way the specification is agreed in writing first.
